Two Hung over cousins together at last...

My cousin mark is coming over today and we are going to go visit my grandfather who is in the hospital. He fell about a month and a half ago and has been having memory problems ever since. Last night the hubby and I stayed up until 3am drinking thus I am a bit hung over and I spoke to mark this moring and so is he. This is going to be very VERY interesting. We've never been drunk together and this the 1st time we'll be hung over together AND we haven't seen eachother since August (of 2009) So very exciting. I hope my grandfather remebers us. It's going to be a little wierd if he doesn't. Hopefull there's just some mild confussion at first but we'll see. Alright need coffee! good god do I!

getting crafty

I have been getting TONS of these tutorials for DIY craft projects all of which I want to do and then I realize I need a sewing machine and a ton of stuff. Then I'll end up with tons of awesome stuff to give as gifts and things to decorate my home for the holidays with. I am very excited and I am working on a list of things I have to pick up to start my crafting madness. I also still have to learn to knit and/or couchette

Words on the Screen

Well I have actually been writting something. is it the screenplay I had origanally said I was going to be writting? NO! its a Sookie Stackhouse fanfiction. Sad? yes. Fun? Hell yes. I just feels nice to actually get something on the screen. and publish it online so I have instant feed back from people who either like it or hate it. like 20 people have added to there update alert list and five people have reviewed it with nothing but positives. Alright then. back to it.

Watchmen

I cannot even begin to say how much i love this movie. I have watched it more times than I can count at this point. I've read the graphic novel as well which is also amazing. Part of the reason I love it so much is that no one really has a super power...well Dr. Manhattan does but he's a bit of a fluke and came after the masks. they came first, and they are just normal people who wanted to make a difference. Batman didn't have a power, unless you count unlimited financial resources a super power. which I suppose it is. Any way, if you haven't seen it: Bloody well see it!! and as seriously messed up Rorschach is I say he is my favorite. Nite Owl and The Comedian are also pretty bad ass.

Screenplay

I have been thinking about writting a screenplay.
Step One: Pick My Cast
Step Two: Come Up With Story
Step Three: Actually Write The Thing
I haven't written a real story in so long I am terrorfied that I have forgotten how. I have lost my prose and that's why the screenplay thing seems like a good idea. Or prehaps its just a cop out so I don't write anything of flowing sentences. Just pure dialoge. sad really. We'll see how it goes.

Childish

seriously? why have been ignoring the awesomeness that is Billy Childish for so long?! i suck at life and should no longer be able to listen to music for committing such an indiscretion.
