Dragon Tattoo

I am so in love with this book series. I feel like a real asshole for giving up before when I was only two chapters into the first book. I am only half through GWPWF I am addicted to it completely. Its abosulutely excellent and I am so very glad I gave it a second chance.

Until the very end.

I just finished Deathly Hallows Part II. It was wonderful, I could ask for more. I was very please with what the did with it. I find myself completely heartbroken. The series has ended. There are no more books to wait for and stay up all night reading. No more movies to wait with batted breath for month. I have grown up with these books. I feel like I have lost a family member for god sakes. It's an open wound, that nothing can staunch. If I had Pottermore to fall back on maybe I wouldn't feel quite so off kilter. I am going to miss the feeling of having those books in my hands for the very first time. No other series of books has come close to that. The Lord of The Rings movies come as close as possible but Harry Potter has been in my life far longer than LOTR no matter how obsessed I was with them. I miss the whole experience more than I can say. It feels as though all the magic has been sucked from the room. I look forward when I finish processing the fangirl emotional roller coaster.

I watched Martin Scorcese's George Harrison: Living in the Matrieal World.

It was lovely. I completley forgot how much I adore George.

I am endlessly glad that he exsited and endlessly sad that he is gone.

I hope that I can go out with as much peace in my heart and soul as he did.

Just finished this. It's a comic about the 6 weeks Lucy Kingsley spent with her mother in Paris in 2007. They went for her 22nd birthday and her mother's 5oth. It's adorable and wonderful. I completetly and utter enjoyed it and I highly reccomend.

Blazer + Band Tee = ♥

I have become a huge fan of the blazer over a band tee. This is a look that needs to be in my closet ASAP. I think it's bad ass and a trend that should never ever go away. Its awesome on guys but I feel more and more gals should pull this off as well. All I really need is the blazer. I do have a few tees floating around that will work but I have been absolutely obssesed with The Subways. Love it! I cannot wait for fall to get back into the need for jackets and I am so looking forward to wearing my boots again! I love my dirty boots.

I adore it! It's a wonderful book all about football (soccer to us Yanks) It's really funny and absolutely makes me very glad I follow it now. Some of the things he talks about when first becoming a fan and finding a club are things that I have gone through. The love/hate relasonship you have with you club and your team members and more to the point, mangment. And the mostly hate and resentment relasonship with one's own national team. The one thing that I have to keep trying to ignore is that Nick Hornby is a bloody Arsenal fan!! Fucking Gunners! hate 'em all. I'm a Tottenham Hotspurs girl!

Sadly the hubby and father-in-law are Chelsea fans. I started following Tottenham when I found out it was the hubby's grandfather's team (who incedenitally almost played for Queen's Park Rangers but there was a certain WWII going on)

god i had problems

I blame Boy Meets World for ruining my ALL my high school relationships with boys. seriously. I aloud myself to buy into the whole Corey and Topangana view of relationships and thus my expectations were seriously fucked up. I mean I REALLY used this as a foil! WTF is wrong with me?! yikes. thank god things are different now. I was a seriously messed up kid. how are people still friends with me?! Laughing Cow Cheese Will Save the Day!

This is the kind of stuff the will be my main staple diet for the next several weeks. except for Thursday nights (date night) and Friday mornings (hang over days). It's a decision I am very happy with. Veggies and a light dip, fruit salad, mini pitas and babybell cheese. Excellent.

Cooking Frenzie!

My Grandmother loaned me her copies of Mastering the art of French cooking. Volumes 1 and 2. It occurred to me when I was writing my 100th page number that I should really just buy my own copies. There is WAY too much that I MUST make! Lobster Bisque and Chocolate Mousse are at the top of the list!

Pounding the Pounds

I have been working on lossing some wieght. again. about 15 to 20 pounds of it in fact. I am feeling super motavated and I cannot wait to start seeing some results. and not just a number value either. I am looking forward to just reforming the bit of a blob I have become. especally in the beer belly area. haha. So the goal is 16o pounds and to look a bit like that picture there. I did about three and half years ago and I am WILL be there again by my anniversary at the latest. June 20th here I come...or here it goes rather! wish me luck! The Ultimate Goal:

This was so the dream I had last night. Except I was Bella, or rather Bella was me. Jacob was trying to teach me to drive and I admitted that I didn't know how to drive stick. Then he said something like, "then why would you try to pick me up in the snow?" and then I woke up. wierd and useless information but I mostly wanted to post this because I have totally joined Team Jacob. I've got enough vampires as it is and Robert Pattinson is a TERRIBLE actor. and Edward is REALLY fucking dull.
